About Buckle
Buckle is a sweet, inquisitive little kitten with a playful personality and plenty of love to give. His mornings usually begin with a cuddle before he's ready for a play session, chasing anything that rolls, climbing his mini cat pole, and enjoying a burst of hilarious zoomies. Once he's worn himself out, it's time for a snack, a drink, and then back to his favourite toys.
He loves being carried around so he can take in everything happening around the house. He'll happily snuggle against your chest and also enjoys finding the highest spot he can, even if that happens to be right in front of the TV so he can supervise the whole family!
When it's time to sleep, Buckle likes cosy hiding places. You'll often find him tucked under a blanket or curled up on a fluffy blanket at the end of the bed—so it's always worth checking before you sit down.
Buckle gets along beautifully with other cats and especially enjoys playing with his foster brother, Lenny (and occasionally trying to steal his food!). He's also curious about dogs and would likely do well with a calm, cat-friendly canine after gentle introductions. He's really enjoying life with the children in his foster home and is growing more confident with them each day, showing all the signs of becoming a wonderful family companion.
Buckle can be a little reserved when meeting new people or hearing sudden noises, but don't let that fool you. Once you get down on his level and give him a little time to settle in, his affectionate personality quickly shines through. Like many kittens, he'll appreciate a calm, patient home where he can build his confidence at his own pace.
If you're looking for a gentle kitten who blossoms with kindness and enjoys both cosy cuddles and energetic play, Buckle could be the perfect addition to your family.
Please note that Buckle will need to be an inside cat for safety due to his fair skin. Cats and kittens with light noses and/or ears are more susceptible to getting sunburnt, and in turn, developing skin cancer.
All AWL NSW kittens and cats come litter trained, desexed, microchipped, and will have received their first vaccination.
