About Bean Sprout
Bean Sprout is a male Domestic Short Hair available for adoption in Seabrook (Western Melbourne, VIC).
Bean Sprout is a young cat who greets every day like it's the best one yet. He's playful, cheeky and endlessly affectionate, the kind of cat who wraps around your ankles the second he hears you're awake.
New faces get a curious once-over, and he might take himself off to his cat tower for a better vantage point while he sizes you up. Give him a little time and he warms right up, curious and social once he's decided you're worth knowing.
A little about Bean Sprout:
🐾 Wraps himself around your feet the moment you wake up
🐾 Adores post-meal cuddles as much as playtime itself
🐾 Turns every day into an adventure, chasing, climbing and pouncing with total enthusiasm
🐾 Has a soft spot for his cat tunnel and scratching pad
🐾 Brings a cheeky, energetic spark to every room he's in
Bean Sprout's day runs on enthusiasm. Mornings start with excitement the second you're up, then it's food, play and exploring until naps take over between adventures. He's not one to sit still for long when there's a tunnel to duck through or a tree to scale.
A favourite little ritual: he'll be right there to see you off to sleep and right there again to welcome you back, cuddles included, purring before you've even sat down.
He connects fast and fully with the people he knows well. New people get a slower introduction, a watchful pause from his tower or a quiet corner before he decides to join in, and once he does, he's all warmth.
Bean Sprout would love a home with plenty of activity, whether that's an energetic household or a playful feline companion to match his pace. He's the sort of cat who thrives with company that keeps up with him.
He's very much a people cat and a cat's cat both, happiest with someone around most of the day and even happier with a playmate his own speed to burn off some of that energy together.
Bean Sprout is in good health, fully vaccinated and desexed, with no medical needs to manage. He's an active, engaged companion who'll happily fill his days with games, cuddles and company, and asks for little more than a willing playmate.
Picture the evening wind-down: Bean Sprout tearing through the hallway after a favourite toy, skidding to a stop, then flopping straight onto your lap for cuddles the moment the game winds up.
Bean Sprout is ready to bring his playful, cheeky energy into a home that's ready for him. He's the kind of cat who turns an ordinary day into a much better one, one cuddle and one chase at a time.

Adoption details
When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s guardian—the person who knows them best!
From here, the guardian will be in touch to learn more about you and chat with you about their pet. It’s a great opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
If your home and lifestyle match the pet's needs, the next step will be arranging a meet-and-greet to make sure everyone is happy to proceed with a formal adoption.
Following the adoption, change of ownership paperwork will be completed, and proof of vaccination, microchipping, and desexing (if applicable, as indicated on the listing) will be provided.
All pets adopted through Home2Home will require an adoption contract to be signed and an adoption fee to be paid. The pet’s guardian will complete the adoption contract with you and provide a link to PetRescue’s secure payment portal for completing the adoption fee payment.
Home2Home currently operates a ‘pay what you choose’ system for cat adoption fees. This means that adopters will be able to choose an adoption fee amount that is suitable for them. All adoption fees are used to support PetRescue's life-saving programs, including Home2Home.
