Brian The Learning To Be Brave!
Brian is a sweet little Chihuahua looking for a patient and understanding home where he can continue learning that the world is a safe and happy place. Having had a difficult start, Brian can be a little more fearful than some dogs and takes time to build trust with new people and situations.
The good news is that once you've earned Brian's trust, you will have a loyal companion for life. He becomes devoted to his people and will happily follow you from room to room, becoming your little shadow. As his confidence grows, his playful and cheeky personality begins to shine through. Brian loves having fun, showing off his zoomies, and enjoying playtime with those he loves.
Brian is still learning to feel confident on lead walks and would benefit from continued positive training and gentle encouragement. He can be a little barky when he sees other dogs, so adopters should be prepared to continue working on this with patience and consistency.
He would do best in a home where someone is around most of the time, as he loves companionship and gains confidence from having his people close by. Brian could live as an only dog or with a calm, well-mannered canine companion following slow and careful introductions. He has not been tested with cats. He is still working on his house training but is eager to please and responds well to kindness and routine. Because he is still learning to trust and can be sensitive to sudden movements or unfamiliar situations, he is looking for an adult-only home where he can continue to blossom at his own pace.
With love, patience, and understanding, Brian will transform into a loving, devoted companion who will fill your home with affection, laughter, and the occasional burst of zoomies. Apply Now for the opportunity to meet the beautiful Brian. 🐾
