About Dahlia
Dahlia is a beautiful young girl with a gentle soul. She is very shy and is looking for a calm, patient, and understanding home where she can settle in at her own pace.
Dahlia would be best suited to an adult-only home or one with cat-savvy older teenagers who understand that building trust with a timid cat takes time, patience, and experience. To help her feel secure, Dahlia is looking for a home where she will be the only pet. She will also need to be kept indoors only, where she can feel safe and protected.
If you have experience helping a shy cat come out of their shell and are willing to let Dahlia set the pace, you'll be giving this sweet girl the chance to flourish into the loving companion she's meant to be.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Burwood East site, adoption hours are 10am – 4pm. Walk-ins are welcome, and you can freely walk through our dog, cat and small animal adoption areas.
