Mia is a stunning, fluffy white girl with a calm and gentle nature who is looking for a very special and understanding home.
While Mia isn't particularly interested in human attention and prefers to keep her distance, she truly enjoys the company of other cats. She needs to be adopted into a home with a confident, friendly feline companion, as she feels much more secure with another cat around and makes a lovely companion for her feline housemates.
Mia is independent, shy, and happiest in a quiet home where she can relax away from people and loud noises. She is afraid of humans and is easily startled, so she needs patient adopters who are happy to let her live life on her own terms. She doesn't enjoy being picked up or handled, and she isn't motivated by food or treats. Instead, she'll quietly find her favourite safe spots and watch the world from a comfortable distance.
Although she's a low energy girl, Mia does enjoy the occasional play session with sensory toys, especially those with bells or interesting sounds she can investigate at her own pace. Her greatest joys, however, are much simpler - finding the warmest place in the house, stretching out in a sunny patch, or claiming the prime position right in front of the heater. If there's a warm spot available, Mia will almost certainly be the first one there.
Mia does have some challenges using the litter tray, so she'll ideally need an experienced and understanding adopter who is prepared to work with her patiently and provide the right setup and routine to help her succeed.
Her ideal home would be peaceful, predictable, and shared with another friendly cat. Mia isn't looking for cuddles or affection from people - she's looking for safety, warmth, feline companionship, and a family who will appreciate her exactly as she is.
If you have a quiet home, a welcoming cat, and room in your heart for a beautiful soul who simply wants to coexist, Mia could be the perfect addition to your family.

Adoption details
Please email us at adoptions@heartandsoulrescue.com.au if you are interested in adopting one of our precious souls, and we will send you our Adoption Application Form 💛
Once we have received your completed application, we will contact you to discuss suitability. If we feel one of our cats or kittens may be the right match for you, we will then arrange either a home visit or request a short walk-through video of your home.
If all goes well, we offer a 2-week trial period to ensure your new cat or kitten is the right fit for your family 🐾
Conditions apply. Heart & Soul Rescue reserves the right to decline a full refund if recommendations and care requirements regarding your adopted cat or kitten have not been followed during the 2 week trial period. A 25% administration fee applies if a cat or kitten is returned during that time.
Heart & Soul Rescue is a volunteer-run, non-profit charity. We receive no government funding and rely entirely on donations and fundraising to cover our vet and rescue costs.
