About Ying
Sometimes you really need to ask the BIG questions: who am I? What is my purpose? Did I leave the oven on when I left for work this morning?
Meet Ying, the girl with a PhD in Existential Crises and a Masters in "Am I a Cat?".
Ying is a 3 year old DLH (and boy do we mean LONG!) with a stunning calico coat. Come winter, this kitty philosopher doubles in floof and size, making her a perfect companion for snuggling on cold nights or games of hide-and-seek where very small children need something to hide behind.
Here are the facts on our girl:
🐾 No, the wind didn't change direction, she just always looks like she's having a personal crisis or five
🐾 Has stared at a toy in the sky and wondered why it was getting bigger and bigger
🐾 The first to investigate something new in the cattery. Well, the first to walk up and stare at it
🐾 The braincells are all there, they just choose weird times to activate
Ying came into care with her mum Sweetie and her four siblings. While Sweetie lived up to her name and quickly found a home, the 5 members of The Fluff Gang still wait in hopes of finding theirs (you know, THE Fluff Gang? Famous rap group? They just dropped a new album last week).
When Ying isn't having an existential crisis in the middle of a wrestling match with her sister Yang, she can be found staring off into the abyss as she ponders what it means to Be. She has a gentle and curious nature that makes the cats around her feel comfortable in their space, and she in turn adores having other cats around to play and nap with. While she may come across as shy at first, with the right home and plenty of love, she will soon show you the way of the anxiety-driven philosopher!
Ying's ideal home is where..
🐈 Other cats are present for companionship
🍃 If young children are in the home, there is a dedicated space for her to retreat and decompress
💖 Her humans will dedicate time for the maintenance and care of her coat, whether it is regular brushing or attending a groomer
💖 Her humans have plenty of time for playing, lounging, and reflecting on those Big Questions!
🏡 Indoor only, with outside access restricted to cattery or enclosed yard
