At just 1 year old, Junie has already experienced more uncertainty than any young dog should. She came into our care as a stray, and sadly, no one ever came looking for her. Because of this, we know very little about her past, but what we do know is that she's a beautiful soul who deserves a future filled with love, stability, and kindness.

Junie is a sweet, affectionate Staffy who forms strong bonds with the people she trusts. She can be a little shy and unsure when meeting new people, but with patience and gentle encouragement, her loving personality shines through. Once you've earned her trust, you'll have a loyal best friend who loves nothing more than being close to her people.

As a young dog, Junie has plenty of energy and enjoys staying active. She can also become a little overwhelmed or stressed in new environments, so she'll benefit from a calm, predictable home where she can continue to build her confidence at her own pace. She is looking for an owner who is home more often than not and has the time to provide the companionship, routine, and reassurance she needs to thrive.

Junie would be best suited to a home with secondary school-aged children or older who can respect her boundaries while she settles in. She is also looking for a home where she can be the only dog, allowing her to soak up all the love and attention she deserves.
