Meet Middy – Our Midnight Kitten
Middy's rescue really was a midnight adventure.
Our neighbour mentioned that she had seen a young cat on her door camera during the night. She kindly borrowed one of our traps, and I decided to set another one as well. For nearly a week, nothing happened. Then, one night around midnight, my daughter came home and woke me up saying, "Mum, there's a cat in the trap!"
That little cat was Middy.
At midnight, we settled her into a safe cage, scanned her for a microchip, and made the decision that she would not become another statistic in a shelter. She deserved a second chance, and that's exactly what 2nd Chance Cat Rescue is all about.
Now that Middy has been desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, and completed all of her vet work, she is ready to begin the next chapter of her life with a loving family—one where she'll be safe indoors and cherished forever.
Middy is a beautiful tortoiseshell kitten with the sweetest, friendliest personality. She loves sleeping on the bed, enjoys exploring her surroundings, and is always happy to be part of the family. We estimate she is around six months old and, thankfully, she wasn't pregnant when she was rescued.
If you're looking for a gentle, affectionate kitten to share your home with, Middy could be the perfect match.

Our Adoption Fees are as follows:
· Kittens (1 vaccination): $400
· Kittens (2 vaccinations): $450
· Adult & Adolescent Cats (9+ months): $280
· Breed cats will be listed with a separate adoption fee based on their individual profile.
This also includes:
· A take home pack for your kitty
· We transfer the Change of Ownership, free of charge into your name

Adoption details
We ask that you complete an Adoption Questionnaire before we make arrangements for you to meet a cat or kitten. This is to ensure that we find the best possible match for you and the cats/kittens in our care.
PROCEDURE
1. Complete the online application by following http://www.2ndchancecatrescue.com.au/adopting/adoption-form
2. If your application is successful, we will contact you to arrange a meet and greet.
Please note that the adoption fee as stated on the cat's profile is required on the day of adoption and we accept cash bank transfer or Pay ID.
