About Lychee
Lychee & Lolly
Sweet names, even sweeter personalities!
Meet Lychee and Lolly, two playful pups who are ready to add plenty of fun, laughter and cuddles to their new families.
Just like their names, these youngsters are full of sweetness. They love exploring the world around them, playing with toys, learning new things and then curling up for a well-earned nap after a busy day of adventures.
Being young puppies, they’ll thrive with families who are ready to guide them through all the exciting milestones ahead. Positive training, gentle encouragement and plenty of love will help them grow into happy, confident companions.
Raised in foster care with a loving family, Lychee and Lolly have had the benefit of a home environment, giving us valuable insight into their personalities and helping them get off to a great start.
If you’re looking for a little extra sweetness in your life, Lychee or Lolly could be just the companion you’ve been waiting for.
As SAFE is a foster-based rescue, we don’t have a shelter to visit, but meeting Lychee or Lolly is easy. Simply submit an adoption application and we’ll arrange a meet and greet with their foster family.
Want to know more about how you teach a pup to be a great dog? I’d like to do training every day so that I learn the commands of sit, stay, come, down, no, stop and leave it. And once I’ve learnt them, I need to keep practicing them every day too. That way I’ll learn to obey what you tell me to do. Being consistent and clear with your boundaries will mean I always know the right way to behave. Getting out to exercise at least once a day (and twice for working dog breeds) is vital to stimulate my brain and body. It creates important opportunities for me to meet strangers, other dogs and other animals, plus it tires me out! Tell me “no” if I’m chewing something I shouldn’t and give me a chew toy instead. I’d love to have a range of chew toys that you can swap around so I don’t get bored with them.

4 THINGS TO CONSIDER BEFORE APPLYING:
1. Time Commitment: Owning a dog is a big responsibility and requires a significant commitment of time and energy. Be sure to consider how much time you can realistically dedicate to caring for a dog and make sure you are prepared to make that commitment.
2. Cost: Owning a dog can be expensive. Make sure to consider the cost of food, medical care, toys, and other supplies. You may also want to think about enrolling your dog in obedience classes or hiring a professional dog walker.
3. Space: Depending on the breed, some dogs require a lot of space. Make sure you have enough room in your home and yard to accommodate a dog before making the decision to adopt.
4. Lifestyle: Think about your current lifestyle and how a dog may fit into it. Consider if you have any restrictions such as travel, work hours, or allergies. Also, think about how owning a dog may affect your social life.

Adoption fee includes vet check, first vaccination*, flea and worm treatment, microchipping and sterilisation at a SAFE approved vet at 6 months of age.
