About Winnie the Pooh
Introducing Winnie the Pooh!
Winnie is a sweet little girl who may be a little shy when you first meet her but give her a little patience and you’ll discover one of the smoochiest kittens around.
Once she’s comfortable, Winnie absolutely adores affection. She’ll happily shower you with gentle head bumps, make endless biscuits, and fill the room with her loud, content purrs. Despite her tiny size, she’s got plenty of opinions and isn’t afraid to share them—especially with her adorable squeaky little meow whenever she thinks it’s time for a snack (or maybe a second snack!).
Food is definitely one of the ways to Winnie’s heart, and her gentle, affectionate nature makes her an incredibly rewarding companion once her confidence blossoms.
Due to our single kitten policy, Winnie must be adopted into a home with a friendly resident cat or adopted alongside another kitten. Her siblings, Piglet, Tigger and Eeyore, are also available for adoption.
Medical notes
Winnie has had a deciduous (retained baby) canine tooth removed by a veterinarian. This is a relatively common procedure in young animals where a baby tooth does not fall out as expected, and removal is recommended to support normal adult tooth alignment and ongoing dental health.
The procedure was completed without complication, and Winnie has recovered well. No ongoing treatment or special care is required beyond routine dental care moving forward.
Adoption details
All animals adopted through Out of the Woods Rescue are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea/worm treated and health-checked. We aim to match each animal with a home that suits their needs and personality.
Here’s how our adoption process works:
Submit an application – This helps us get to know you, your household and what you're looking for in a pet.
Phone chat – If your application looks like a potential fit, one of our team members will contact you for a casual phone conversation to answer questions and discuss the animal in more detail.
Meet and greet – You’ll meet the animal in their foster home or another agreed location. If everyone agrees it’s a good match, we can proceed to adoption.
Adoption paperwork and payment – Our adoption fees cover desexing, microchipping, vaccination and parasite treatment.
Once adopted, the animal becomes part of your family. We're still here for post-adoption support if you ever need any help.
We’re committed to ethical adoptions and reserve the right to decline applications if we feel the match isn’t in the best interest of the animal.
