About Monty 🐾
My Big Ginger Lover 🧡🐾
Sweet Monty was doing it tough on the streets with his best mate, living outside in the wrong part of town - sadly no one was keeping him safe or taking him in and we rescued him, and goodness are we glad we did. Sadly, his little friend was unwell and did not make it, but Monty has shown us just how strong and resilient he is. He is now safe, thriving, and oh-so-cuddly. ❤️
Monty is a playful, affectionate, and confident boy with a huge heart. He wrestles with our male cat like they are little brothers, and it is the sweetest thing to watch, he also loves hanging out with kittens. He absolutely adores affection and loves nothing more than being close to his people - in fact, he will happily snuggle my husband whilst working try to join my work calls by lying right in front of the computer just to soak up the attention. 😸
He is also a very loving boy with other cats. You will often find him snuggled up with a different kitty around the house, which says so much about his gentle nature. He is the kind of cat who just wants love, company, and to be part of everything. 🐱💕 He also manages to co-exist pleasantly with our 2 dogs.

Adoption details
Adopting with Kittie Kat Rescue Inc.
Bringing a new pet into your home is a long-term commitment—both emotionally and financially. Cats can live 15 to 20 years, so it's essential that all family members are prepared to provide love, shelter, and a safe environment for their lifetime. This includes premium nutrition, regular veterinary care, and ensuring they are kept indoors only or have access to a secure, cat-proof outdoor enclosure.
Our Adoption Process:
-Initial Contact & Questionnaire. We’ll start by sending you our adoption questionnaire via email or text message. This helps us understand your home environment and what you're looking for in a feline companion.
-Video Tour. We will require a video tour of your home, focusing on safety features such as secure screens on windows, doors and balconies. Plus, we’d love to see where your new kitty will be set up in their new home!
-Meet & Greet with the Foster Carer. Once your application is complete and approved, we’ll arrange a time for you to meet the cat with their foster carer.
-Adoption & Bringing Your Cat Home. In some cases, if your application is approved and the cat has completed all their vet work, they can go home with you straight after the meet and greet (an adoption fee is payable). Adoption paperwork will follow.
-Settling-In Period & Adoption Finalisation. Every adoption includes a two-week settling-in period from the time of adoption. If, for any reason, your new cat isn’t the right fit for your home, you can return them within this period for a 50% refund of the adoption fee.
-All of our cats come microchipped, desexed, with one or more vaccinations, and will be lifetime registered. Depending on their age, kittens may need their second (and potentially third) vaccination undertaken by the adopter after adoption. The transfer of ownership is completed as soon as possible.
Adoption fees:
-Kittens: $350
-Cats 1 - 3 Years: $275
-Cats 3 Years+: $200
All adoptions will also carry a lifetime registration/admin fee of $50 on top of the above adoption price.
