🐾❤️ Fat Cat For Adoption: More to Love, More to Adore ❤️🐾
Lovingly known as our Fat Cat, this beautiful girl has the biggest heart to match her adorable, cuddly figure. 🥹🐱
We were so fortunate to save her after she was facing euthanasia because her previous family was expecting a baby and no longer wanted her. 💔 It is something we will never understand, but thankfully Fat Cat was given the second chance she deserved. We call her this as a term of endearment.
When she first arrived, she was frightened and unsure - we laugh now as we weren't even sure if we liked her. Today, she has blossomed into the most wonderful companion. She loves a good pat, enjoys having little chats with her humans and becomes especially vocal when it's dinner time. 🍽️ In fact, she'll happily run after you when she knows her tea is coming, and it's every bit as adorable as it sounds. 😹💕
My husband affectionately calls her a "slow burner" because she takes a little time to show her full personality, but once she does, you'll discover the sweetest, quirkiest little lady who is impossible not to love. ✨

Adoption details
Adopting with Kittie Kat Rescue Inc.
Bringing a new pet into your home is a long-term commitment—both emotionally and financially. Cats can live 15 to 20 years, so it's essential that all family members are prepared to provide love, shelter, and a safe environment for their lifetime. This includes premium nutrition, regular veterinary care, and ensuring they are kept indoors only or have access to a secure, cat-proof outdoor enclosure.
Our Adoption Process:
-Initial Contact & Questionnaire. We’ll start by sending you our adoption questionnaire via email or text message. This helps us understand your home environment and what you're looking for in a feline companion.
-Video Tour. We will require a video tour of your home, focusing on safety features such as secure screens on windows, doors and balconies. Plus, we’d love to see where your new kitty will be set up in their new home!
-Meet & Greet with the Foster Carer. Once your application is complete and approved, we’ll arrange a time for you to meet the cat with their foster carer.
-Adoption & Bringing Your Cat Home. In some cases, if your application is approved and the cat has completed all their vet work, they can go home with you straight after the meet and greet (an adoption fee is payable). Adoption paperwork will follow.
-Settling-In Period & Adoption Finalisation. Every adoption includes a two-week settling-in period from the time of adoption. If, for any reason, your new cat isn’t the right fit for your home, you can return them within this period for a 50% refund of the adoption fee.
-All of our cats come microchipped, desexed, with one or more vaccinations, and will be lifetime registered. Depending on their age, kittens may need their second (and potentially third) vaccination undertaken by the adopter after adoption. The transfer of ownership is completed as soon as possible.
Adoption fees:
-Kittens: $350
-Cats 1 - 3 Years: $275
-Cats 3 Years+: $200
All adoptions will also carry a lifetime registration/admin fee of $50 on top of the above adoption price.
