Say hello to Ares!

Ares is a gentle and loving Labrador cross Kelpie, who while getting on in years, at just over 8 years old, is excited to walk into this new chapter of his life and settled down into a new loving family.

Ares, named after the great Greek god, was named after the god for his benevolence, not his tyranny, and in that sense, Ares is a perfect name.

While he can be timid and a little nervous when meeting unfamiliar people, if approached in a calm manner, and once he feels more comfortable, Ares will be a sweet and loving companion.

Ares is never going to say no to a treat and has already learnt your basic commands like sit, and loves to play fetch with the ball. Remember age is just a number!

Because he likes to take things slowly, we recommend that his new home has only secondary aged children or above adults living there. He also does best when given space from other animals, so he will be a dog that has to go home to a single dog household where he can receive all of the love, undivided.
