About Elsie
Gentle, kind and full of love, Elsie is a sweet senior lady searching for a home where she can enjoy her retirement years surrounded by care and affection.
Since coming into RSPCA care, Elsie has put on a great amount of weight and is looking healthier every day. She will still need continued nutritional support to help her reach and maintain her ideal condition, so she is looking for someone who is committed to providing her with the care she needs.
Elsie is 12.2hh and would love nothing more than a paddock to call home, a friendly equine companion by her side, and someone who enjoys spending time spoiling her with scratches, gentle grooming and plenty of love.
If you have room in your heart and your paddock for a deserving mare to spend her golden years in comfort, Elsie could be the girl for you.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Peninsula site, adoption hours are 12pm – 4pm. You are welcome to attend our reception office without an appointment to begin our adoption process during adoption hours.
The adoption areas are not free to walk through, and you will need to chat with our staff to confirm that a potential adoption is a good match.
Once the adoption has been discussed, a staff member will facilitate a walk-through of the adoption areas or have an animal brought to you in a greeting area.
