About Kiya
Meet Kiya!
Princess Kiya is a social butterfly who loves greeting everyone with sweet head bumps and rubbing up against you for pats. She's a curious girl who enjoys exploring her surroundings and is always excited to investigate a new toy or tasty treat.
While Kiya doesn't mind being picked up now and then, she'd much rather keep all four paws on the ground and explore at her own pace. She loves affection but also enjoys a little independence.
One of Kiya's favourite activities is sitting in our cat park, watching the birds and chirping away at them. A sunny window where she can continue her bird-watching sessions would make her one very happy girl.
Kiya is open to meeting kids who understand she enjoys a little space from time to time, and she's also open to meeting other animals with slow and positive introductions.
If you're looking for a sweet, affectionate girl with just the right amount of independence, Princess Kiya would love to meet you.
Campbelltown Animal Care Facility’s adoption fee covers their desexing, standard health check, microchipping & NSW lifetime registration
All animals are also up to date with vaccinations and Flea Tick & Worm Treatments.

See an animal you want to meet?
• All adoptions must go through our Council website - so head over there!
• Search for the animal you are interested in by typing their name or impound number in the search bar
• Read through their profile & click the red button which says 'Submit an Expression of Interest'
• Next, we'll reach out to you
• If all goes well, we'll discuss the next steps and a meet & greet!
With all animals it’s important to understand that going into a new environment with new people may not be as flawless as we want it to be. It’s important to know that these animals have unknown histories. Most left in the shelter by their owners. The information we receive is from observing the animal’s behaviours & reactions to certain stimuli whilst in our care. Adopted animals can take up to 3 months to properly decompress from post-shelter life & a lot of behaviours & quirks will surface during this time. All that we ask is that their new owners have an open mind & are patient.
So please keep in touch with us after adoption so that we can help you settle your new family member in and address any unexpected behaviours.
The adoption fee for dogs covers C5 vaccination, health check, heartworm testing, desexing, micro-chipping, and registration.
The adoption fee for cats covers F3 vaccination, health check, desexing, micro-chipping, and registration.
