About Ducky - Assisted Rehome
Ducky is a stunning 8.5 month old Ridgeback mix. She is bright, sweet, energetic and always joyful, making her very easy to adore. So much so that everyone that meets her falls in love!
She is a social butterfly, loving other dogs and humans. She would suit either as an only dog or with another dog that can match her energy levels.
Ducky has spent time on a property and absolutely adores it. Being great around the horses and having perfect recall. She would make an awesome farm friend!
Ducky has been living with a lovely family with 2 young kids and an older dog. Through no fault of her own, it just isn’t the perfect fit so they have made the heartbreaking decision to rehome this sweetheart.
Ducky has well established basic obedience (sit, down, stay, shake, etc) and has solid recall. She is toilet trained and crate trained. Ducky would thrive with someone with training experience as she loves to use her brain. She is super intelligent, eager to please and is a quick learner, making an amazing companion for an experienced home. She will need a firm but kind hand with someone that can give her plenty of love but also boundaries. She is a busy body so needs both physical and mental stimulation. She is a gentle girl but due to her size, she is best suited to a home with kids over 10 or with kids used to larger breeds. She is equally cuddly as she is energetic, always wanting a snuggle or a pat. Ducky is a pretty girl with a striking zig zag pattern down her tail, emphasising her beauty and uniqueness.
Ducky is so loyal and full of love, I can guarantee she will make a lucky family very happy 🤍

Adoption details
If you would like to express interest in adopting, we ask that you send through some info about yourself, your family and home, if you rent or own (rental agreement required if renting and rates notice required if you own) and what you can offer this gorgeous baby. Our aim is to find the best homes for our babies, not necessarily first in best dressed, so a good detailed application will make you stand out from the rest.
Once we have received your email outlining the above, those who we feel may be suitable, will be sent an Adoption Questionnaire to complete. Your enquiry will then be passed onto the appropriate carer and successful applicants will be contacted via phone.
