Meet Papaya!

Papaya came into our care as a stray and, sadly, was never reclaimed. While her past remains a mystery, it's clear that shelter life has been a big adjustment for this gentle girl.

Papaya is a timid cat who is slowly starting to come out of her shell. Each day she is showing a little more confidence, but she will need a patient and understanding family who can give her the time and space she needs to settle into her new home. Like many shy cats, Papaya may take a while to feel comfortable in unfamiliar surroundings, but once she learns that she is safe, we believe her sweet personality will continue to shine through.

She is looking for a calm home where she can adjust at her own pace and build trust with her new family. The reward of helping a shy cat gain confidence is truly special, and Papaya is well worth the wait.

Papaya is desexed, vaccinated and microchipped, and is ready to find a loving forever home where she can leave her stray days behind and start her next chapter.
