Hi, I'm Murphy!

I'm an active boy who loves getting out and about, running around outside, and soaking up the sunshine. After I've had my fun, you'll usually find me stretched out on a comfy bed or couch enjoying a well-deserved snooze.

I'm looking for a family who has plenty of time to spend with me. I'd love to be your loyal companion on walks, adventures, and all of life's little moments. I really enjoy gentle attention and will happily lean right into you for as many pats as you're willing to give!

One of my favourite things in the world is food. I love using snuffle mats and searching for my meals, and I'd really enjoy lots of fun enrichment activities to keep my nose and brain busy. I wasn't much interested in toys during my behaviour assessment, but those plush squeaky toys definitely caught my attention. Once I'm settled into my new home, I might just discover my playful side!

I could fit well into the right family home, but because I love food so much, I'll need some supervision around young children and snacks—I may be tempted to help myself if given the chance!

If you already have a dog, I'd love to meet them before going home. I'd be happiest with a calm, respectful canine friend who can help me feel comfortable and settled.
