Meet Thor!

Turning 10 years old in September, English Staffy, Thor, is a fun, affectionate and happy boy who just wants to be loved.

Sadly, Thor’s family didn’t have fences so he has spent the last 6 years on a chain but he is ready to leave that life behind and embrace being a pampered pooch.

Due to his life on the chain, Thor needed an extensive dental surgery to remove some damaged teeth. He also needed all of the usual vet work, including desexing. Thankfully, we were able to get this done quickly and Thor is ready to start the search for his forever family.

Thor has done well meeting other friendly dogs. His previous owner said that he is a bit too friendly with cats (likes to hump them) and will chase if they run so a kitty free home will be best.

English Staffies are very people focused dogs. They love to be wherever their humans are, and they thrive on companionship. We would love to find Thor a home where he can be spoiled and pampered and, for the first time, find out what life indoors is all about.

Although Thor is almost 10 years old, he still believes that he is a puppy. He is not an “old boy” who is ready for retirement, he is ready to embrace his second chance and has as much fun as he can possibly have.
