About Bear
Hi, I’m Bear, a male puppy with a big heart and a curious nose. I learn fast and I love having a job to do—new tricks, puzzles, or a game of fetch keep me excited. A daily walk or hike is my bliss; I also enjoy scent work and long play sessions that challenge my mind. I’m loyal and will happily supervise our home, wagging my tail to greet you every day. I bond deeply and want to be part of your routine—training, meals, play, and cozy cuddle time at night. I do best with steady guidance, lots of praise, and plenty of energy outlets. I can be a little wary with strangers at first, but I warm up quickly when you show me kindness and consistency. If you’re after a bright, energetic, devoted friend who loves learning and staying busy, I could be your Bear.

Adoption details
When you find an animal that you think you may want to meet, please send us an email through pet rescue and one of our staff will get back to you as soon as we can.
If you live in the Rockhampton area, we encourage you to meet with any animal that captures your heart.
However, if you live too far away we can arrange a phone call from one of our foster carers, who can provide you with the best information on our animals.
Once you have chosen to adopt (or the animal has chosen you) one of our adoption counselors will process the adoption and your new family member will be ready to take home.
