About Miranda
Meet Miranda! Looking for a cat with a sense of adventure, a little bit of sass, plenty of personality, and a friendship that's truly earned? Miranda might just be your perfect match. Miranda isn't the type of cat who will leap into your arms on day one, and that's exactly what makes her so special. She likes to take her time getting to know new people, but once you've earned her trust you'll have a loyal companion who loves being part of your day.
She enjoys playing with toys, especially anything she can chase, and she wants to be friends with every cat she meets. One of Miranda’s greatest pleasures is a good, firm pat, and she'll happily lean into every scratch once she's comfortable.
Miranda has blossomed enormously in foster care. The timid girl who arrived unsure of the world has gradually grown into a confident little queen who enjoys sleeping on her foster carer's bed, seeks out affection, and confidently supervises household activities. She still appreciates having somewhere safe to retreat if life becomes overwhelming, but those moments are becoming fewer and farther between.
Miranda would thrive in a calm, patient home where her new family understands that trust takes time. She isn't looking for perfection, just people who will let her settle at her own pace and celebrate each little milestone along the way. Watching Miranda’s confidence grow is incredibly rewarding, and she'll repay your patience with quiet companionship, amusing conversations and a personality that will make you smile every day. Adoption details
- You contact us to obtain an adoption application and discuss the animal of interest.
Once the application is completed and returned it will be assessed for suitability. We will also ask for rental agreements or rates and photos of your home. Please also include photos of your fencing .
- A meet and greet with the dog and all members of the adopting family and current dogs are arranged where possible.
This usually coincides with a yard check, to ensure the safety and security of the property on which the dog will be kept. - we understand that this is not always possible in interstate adoptions and this will be discussed on your initial contact.
- Payment of the adoption fee is made in one full payment. The dog is then handed over with any belongings, and all relevant paperwork and records. Please note we do have contracts in place that must be signed.
- Once the 14 day 'settling in' period has ended, the change of ownership microchip details are submitted to council and the adoption is officially finalised.
- For interstate adoptions- The adoptor must have a meet and greet with the animal they are adopting. We will not send an animal over without a meet. All transport costs including flights, will need to be paid in full by the adoptor.
- For cats, all adoptions take place at PETstock Tuggerah unless the profile states otherwise.
