About Colin
Colin is a very much loved small standard dachshund (approx 8 kg) who has been extremely well socialised and lives with 2 others dogs and 3 cats. Colin is familiar with young children although tends to ignore them, so he would be better placed in a family with children of 8 years plus. He was born with a slight bandy hock where one of his back legs curves out a little
he has a cat flap to come and go as he pleases and is housetrained, although like a lot of dachshunds, if it's raining then he's not too keen on going out in it! he sleeps in his own bed beside yours and is a heat seeking missile, so fires and sunshine are a must. He loves spending time with his family and enjoys his walks and trips in the car and would make a very loyal companion to the right family. He has dachshund hunting instincts and will follow his nose where it leads, so he would not be suitable to a household with chooks
