About Toffee
Just like her namesake, Toffee is irresistibly sweet… with just a little bit of chew.
She might not melt into your arms the second you meet her, but give her a little patience and she’ll soon become the kitten you can’t imagine life without. The best things are worth waiting for, and Toffee is definitely one of them.
Toffee is an independent little lady who has mastered the art of entertaining herself. Toffee appears to believe she’s training for the Formula One World Championship.
Every day she tears around her foster home following her carefully designed race circuit at top speed, complete with strategic pit stops behind furniture before dramatically launching herself out to ambush an unsuspecting toy. Then it’s straight back onto the track for another lap. We suspect she’s convinced she’s one sponsorship deal away from becoming the next feline racing champion.
When race day is over, however, Toffee transforms into a professional nap enthusiast. Her favourite luxury? A soft, cosy blanket with a sneaky hot water bottle tucked underneath. The moment she discovers her heated bed has been prepared, the engine switches off, the purring starts, and she settles in for what can only be described as championship-level snoozing.
Despite her independent streak, Toffee has one weakness… Belly rubs.
When she settles in for belly rubs don’t expect to be going anywhere anytime soon. Toffee has perfected the art of trapping humans into extended cuddle sessions and is perfectly content to stay exactly where she is until you eventually have to get up and ruin the moment.
Toffee can be a little cautious when meeting new people and may need a little time to settle into a new home. Once she feels safe, though, her funny, affectionate and curious personality shines through. Because of this, we’re looking for a quieter home without young or boisterous children where she can build her confidence at her own pace.
If you’re looking for a kitten who’s sweet, playful, full of quirky personality and just a tiny bit “chewy” around the edges while she gets to know you, Toffee could be the perfect addition to your family.
Please note that Toffee will need to be an inside cat for her safety. Cats and kittens with light noses and/or ears are more susceptible to getting sunburnt, and in turn, getting skin cancer.
All AWL NSW kittens and cats come litter trained, desexed, microchipped and will have received their first vaccination.
