About Honey
Meet Honey, a gentle little flower who's in the process of discovering just how sweet life can be. Rescued from the streets, Honey is an enchanting cat who is learning to embrace the warmth, security, and love that a caring home can offer. Her tranquil disposition and love for sunbeams make her a natural "Sunbeam Specialist," where she can be found stretched out, basking in the simple pleasure of a sunny spot.
Though Honey may start off a bit shy, she is a playful little soul at heart. She delights in exploring her surroundings and engaging in lighthearted play. Her reserved nature may cause her to take a little time to adjust, but rest assured that once she lets her guard down, Honey blossoms into a remarkably affectionate and charming companion. This "Slow-Blooming Sweetheart" has a playful side that is sure to bring a smile to your face.
Honey is a "Cuddle Lover in Training." While she might take some time to trust you, once she does, her affection is unwavering. Expect gentle snuggles and a peaceful, loving presence once she feels at home. If you have the patience to nurture a timid but affectionate cat, you'll gain an exceptional and loyal companion in Honey. She's a cat with so much love to give, just waiting for the right family to appreciate her unique beauty and spirit.

Adoption details
Adopting with Kittie Kat Rescue Inc.
Bringing a new pet into your home is a long-term commitment—both emotionally and financially. Cats can live 15 to 20 years, so it's essential that all family members are prepared to provide love, shelter, and a safe environment for their lifetime. This includes premium nutrition, regular veterinary care, and ensuring they are kept indoors only or have access to a secure, cat-proof outdoor enclosure.
Our Adoption Process:
-Initial Contact & Questionnaire. We’ll start by sending you our adoption questionnaire via email or text message. This helps us understand your home environment and what you're looking for in a feline companion.
-Video Tour. We will require a video tour of your home, focusing on safety features such as secure screens on windows, doors and balconies. Plus, we’d love to see where your new kitty will be set up in their new home!
-Meet & Greet with the Foster Carer. Once your application is complete and approved, we’ll arrange a time for you to meet the cat with their foster carer.
-Adoption & Bringing Your Cat Home. In some cases, if your application is approved and the cat has completed all their vet work, they can go home with you straight after the meet and greet (an adoption fee is payable). Adoption paperwork will follow.
-Settling-In Period & Adoption Finalisation. Every adoption includes a two-week settling-in period from the time of adoption. If, for any reason, your new cat isn’t the right fit for your home, you can return them within this period for a 50% refund of the adoption fee.
-All of our cats come microchipped, desexed, with one or more vaccinations, and will be lifetime registered. Depending on their age, kittens may need their second (and potentially third) vaccination undertaken by the adopter after adoption. The transfer of ownership is completed as soon as possible.
Adoption fees:
-Kittens: $350
-Cats 1 - 3 Years: $275
-Cats 3 Years+: $200
All adoptions will also carry a lifetime registration/admin fee of $50 on top of the above adoption price.
