About Reggie
Please only apply for this greyhound if you have:
- Lots of love to give to affectionate Reggie
- Children over 5 years
Meet Reggie, a gorgeous senior black girl. Sadly, Reggie has been returned to us as her elderly owner can no longer look after her, and she is now looking for a new home to live out the rest of her days.
Don't let the grey whiskers fool you, Reggie is still very spritely and energetic.
She might be getting on in years but is still very much full of life with lots of love to give.
Reggie walks beautifully on the lead and loves travelling in the car, although she does need help getting in the back as it's a bit high for her to jump up. A short walk once or twice a day is enough to keep her happy and the rest of the time she will snooze in her dog bed.
Reggie responds well to her name and comes when she is called. A small yard for toileting is all that is required, as she prefers to spend her time indoors.
Reggie is currently living with two foster greyhound sisters, but has been an only dog for the past two years, so we feel she would be happy either with another dog, or by herself.
She gets along well with other breeds of dogs, both large and small and is equally good with children over 5 years old.
Reggie sleeps happily through the night and is toilet trained. She is very affectionate and will rest her head in your lap for a scritch.
She's calm and quiet and would suit most family situations. She may be fine with part-time workers but would probably enjoy someone who is home more often than not.
Do you have room in your life for Reggie to share her twilight years?
[Note: Under Victorian Law greyhounds must be on-leash at all times in public areas, including in off-leash parks or ovals]
