Meet Darla 💛

Darla is an adorable 11-year-old Maltese weighing around 4–5 kg, and she's ready to find a loving home to spend her golden years.

Although Darla is deaf, it certainly doesn't hold her back. She's a beautifully behaved little lady who takes life in her stride. Her favourite place is wherever you are—whether that's curled up beside you on the couch or happily snoozing on your lap.

Darla is a big fan of food, but she's incredibly polite and has lovely manners. She'll never help herself to food from the table and patiently waits until she's invited. When it's time to relax, you'll usually find her tucked up in her favourite fluffy bed (bonus points if there's an extra-soft pillow waiting for her!).

She enjoys her daily walks and walks beautifully on lead. Every now and then she'll bring you a little toy as her way of asking for a game, showing off her sweet and playful side.

Darla gets along wonderfully with other dogs and would be happiest in a calm, quiet home. She'd thrive as an only dog where she can soak up all the attention, or alongside another small, gentle dog who enjoys a peaceful lifestyle.
