About Liza
🐾 Meet Liza 🐾
Liza’s story is one of resilience, love, and an incredible mother’s heart.
Still just a kitten herself, Liza was alone on the streets and heavily pregnant when she was taken in by KKR. For the first time, she had a safe place to call home, where she could bring her babies into the world surrounded by care and comfort.
But Liza’s kindness didn’t stop with her own kittens. When tiny Freddy, an abandoned two-week-old kitten, was found alone and in desperate need of a mother, Liza welcomed him without hesitation. She nursed him alongside her own babies, giving him the love, warmth, and chance at life he so desperately needed. She then welcomed another orphan Tina.
Liza is a sweet, affectionate girl with a gentle nature and a loud, happy purr that starts the moment she’s enjoying your company. She’s playful, curious, and loves being around people, whether she’s following you from room to room or curling up nearby for some quiet companionship.
Liza is a truly special girl with the sweetest nature. She is incredibly tolerant and affectionate. She would thrive in a home where she has company, and she’d happily share her home with a friendly cat or a gentle dog. Liza is also wonderful with children, making her a fantastic addition to many different families.
Now that her babies are growing up, it’s time for Liza to find a forever home of her own where she can be cherished for the amazing cat she is.

Adoption details
Adopting with Kittie Kat Rescue Inc.
Bringing a new pet into your home is a long-term commitment—both emotionally and financially. Cats can live 15 to 20 years, so it's essential that all family members are prepared to provide love, shelter, and a safe environment for their lifetime. This includes premium nutrition, regular veterinary care, and ensuring they are kept indoors only or have access to a secure, cat-proof outdoor enclosure.
Our Adoption Process:
-Initial Contact & Questionnaire. We’ll start by sending you our adoption questionnaire via email or text message. This helps us understand your home environment and what you're looking for in a feline companion.
-Video Tour. We will require a video tour of your home, focusing on safety features such as secure screens on windows, doors and balconies. Plus, we’d love to see where your new kitty will be set up in their new home!
-Meet & Greet with the Foster Carer. Once your application is complete and approved, we’ll arrange a time for you to meet the cat with their foster carer.
-Adoption & Bringing Your Cat Home. In some cases, if your application is approved and the cat has completed all their vet work, they can go home with you straight after the meet and greet (an adoption fee is payable). Adoption paperwork will follow.
-Settling-In Period & Adoption Finalisation. Every adoption includes a two-week settling-in period from the time of adoption. If, for any reason, your new cat isn’t the right fit for your home, you can return them within this period for a 50% refund of the adoption fee.
-All of our cats come microchipped, desexed, with one or more vaccinations, and will be lifetime registered. Depending on their age, kittens may need their second (and potentially third) vaccination undertaken by the adopter after adoption. The transfer of ownership is completed as soon as possible.
Adoption fees:
-Kittens: $350
-Cats 1 - 3 Years: $275
-Cats 3 Years+: $200
All adoptions will also carry a lifetime registration/admin fee of $50 on top of the above adoption price.
