We have lowered her adoption fee to $50 to help her find a beautiful home to call her own.

Butterfly is the kind of kitten who makes you wonder how you ever lived without her.
She is a total shadow, complete lap cat and genuinely 10/10 friendly. If you sit down, Butterfly is on your lap. If you get up, she’s coming with you. Walk into another room? She’ll be right behind you. She absolutely adores people and wants to be part of whatever you’re doing.

She has the sweetest, gentlest little nature and the loudest purr. She’ll curl up on you for cuddles, follow you around the house and happily spend her days just being close to her person. She really is one of those special cats who doesn’t just live in your house - she becomes your little best friend. 🥹

There is one thing we need her future family to know. Butterfly is suspected to have Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD), meaning she has cysts on her kidneys that will need to be monitored over time. Right now, she is doing really well. She simply needs a kidney-friendly diet and routine blood tests to monitor her kidney function. Some cats with PKD remain stable for many years, while others may need additional care as they get older. We know that might make some people scroll past her, but we really hope the right person won’t.

Butterfly doesn’t know there’s anything different about her. She’s just a ridiculously loving little kitten who wants a lap to sleep on, a person to follow around and a family to adore for however many years she gets. ❤️

And whoever adopts her is going to be very, very loved.

Butterfly hasn’t been tested with dogs or other cats, so introductions would need to be slow and thoughtful. She would also be perfectly happy as your one and only, getting all the attention to herself. She could live with respectful children who understand when a cat needs space.

Please don’t let her medical condition be the reason she grows up in foster care. If you can give Butterfly the love and ongoing care she needs, she will give it back tenfold.
