About Barry
Meet Barry, a big, friendly ginger boy who is sure to melt your heart with his endearing presence. With his warm marmalade coat and gentle eyes, Barry is a picture of cuddly feline beauty. Initially a bit reserved, Barry is now gaining confidence and showing off his playful side. You’ll often find him chasing a toy or quietly observing his surroundings with a curious gaze. He is entertaining with his zoomies too, though he isn’t the most graceful of cats!
Barry loves his human(s) more than anything and hopes for lots of cuddles in bed and on the sofa. Give him belly rubs and he’ll purr right back at you. He also loves a chat and knows his name very well!
Barry is incredibly adaptable and would make a wonderful addition to any home. He is very happy to be an only cat who is spoiled by his human(s), but he can also live happily with other animals. He would prefer a calm cat or dog, with gentle introductions. He’s lived harmoniously in a household environment with children over the age of eight, making him an ideal family cat.
Barry is ready to bring warmth and companionship to his new family. If you’re looking for a soft-hearted feline friend to join your household, Barry might just be your perfect match.
Medical notes
Managing chin acne and monitoring lesions on gums - follow up veterinary appointment included in adoption fee.
Flies seem to bite his ears so he requires Rid antiseptic and insect repellent to be applied daily.
Cat flu carrier.
Age is an estimation of 3-5 years old as per veterinary assessment.
Fully vaccinated - annual booster vaccination due July 2027.
Adoption details
The adoption process at Second Chance Companionship includes:
1. The completion of an Adoption Application,
2. Assessment of Adoption Application as suitable,
3. A meet and greet with the animal,
4. Home inspection (if requested by the team)
5. Completing Adoption Paperwork and Adoption Payment
6. Then you have a new 'furrever' family member.
