About Jetta
The first of our emaciated staffy x kelpie girls is ready to start the search for a loving home.
Jetta is a full of life pocket rocket weighing around 15kg. Vets have assessed her as being 7 months of age, however someone messaged to say she is 12 months old. So Jetta is between 7 and 12 months of age and fully grown.
Jetta Love's Love's Love's her people. The closer she can get to you the better she feels, whether that's beside you or in your lap on a seat ... or right on your heals as you walk, this girl lives for people.
Jetta wants to be the apple of her human's eyes. She isn't a fan of sharing the attention or being 'locked' away while other dog's are being exercised. She will need a secure fenced home.
Jetta is very good to walk on lead, and has started the process of learning to sit and wait.
Jetta needs to be an only child as she struggles to share her people with another dog. She will walk on lead with other dog's ... but still requires some work in this area.
Due to limited exposure to other dog's she isn't able to go into an off leash dog park ... without extensive training and exposure.
Jetta was the top dog in her litter, and came into care malnourished so requires a slow feeder bowl at meal times and will be opportunistic around food.
If your looking for a devoted, active doggy companion then Jetta maybe a perfect match for you.
Jetta has not had any exposure to cats or pocket pets, so a home as an only pet is essential. Jetta would he fine in a home with upper primary school aged children.
Jetta has been flea & worm treated, vaccinated, microchipped and desexed. Her adoption fee is $650.00.

Adoption details
We like to take the personal approach where a person sends an email of interest around an animal and then we will follow up with phone discussions and email exploration through a survey.
Please note we are a small group of volunteers that balances the administrative side with the care of the animals.
Please only apply for one of our animals if you are genuinely interested in them.
We expect the prospective owner to travel to meet the animal and we are open to trial periods to ensure we have the match right.
