About Jade💚German Shepherd x kelpie (on trial 18/7/26)
Jade is a gorgeous, 11-month-old German Shepherd x Kelpie with the sweetest nature and so much love to give. She's affectionate, cuddly, and happiest when she's close to her people.
Jade has settled beautifully into foster care and has already mastered so much:
🏠 House trained and can use a doggy door.
🙋 Has good basic training: sit, shake, stay, and gentle, etc.
🔙 Great recall – she comes when called.
👱Good with children.
🐾Gets along wonderfully with other dogs.
🛻Travels well in the car.
🍽Slow, polite eater and take treats gently.
😁She absolutely loves chasing a ball and will happily play for ages... she's still perfecting the "bringing it back" part
Jade sleeps happily in her own bed at night, although if you let her, she'd be more than happy to curl up beside her favourite human.
She's still young so she's still learning. She would benefit from a little more lead training, but she's eager to please, intelligent, and responds very well to positive guidance.
Jade is 27kg, so is medium to large size: a bit smaller than a German Shepherd but bigger than a kelpie.
If you're looking for a loyal, smart, loving companion who enjoys cuddles, adventures, and being part of the family, Jade could be your perfect match.
🐶 Jade is in foster care in Dudley, NSW (Lake Macquarie, near Charlestown). She is available for adoption to NSW and ACT. Her adoption fee is $600 and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, and microchipped.
