Meet Greer, one of four puppies in ARK’s Braveheart Litter—two girls and two boys. She is a beautiful black-and-white puppy with an alert little face, a sweet expression and plenty of charm.
Greer’s dad is a Wolfhound/Border Collie mix and her mum is a German Shepherd mix. Photos of both parents are included in her profile. At this stage, Greer appears to have taken much more strongly after her dad than her mum.
FUN FACT: Greer means “watchful” or “vigilant”—a fitting name for this alert little Braveheart.
With working and guardian breeds in her background, Greer is likely to grow into an intelligent, active and loyal dog. Border Collies and German Shepherds are known for being highly trainable and responsive to their people, while the Wolfhound influence may contribute size, gentleness and a more easy-going nature. As with any mixed-breed puppy, her eventual size and appearance cannot be predicted with certainty, but adopters should be prepared for Greer to become a medium-to-large dog.
Greer will need a home committed to continuing her training and socialisation from the beginning. She would benefit from positive, consistent guidance, regular mental stimulation and plenty of age-appropriate exercise as she grows.
Her ideal home will have secure fencing, indoor access and people who want to include her in everyday family life. She is not a puppy who should be left outside to entertain herself. Greer will thrive where she receives companionship, structure and the chance to become a well-mannered adult dog.
Greer will be ready to leave for her new home on 21 July 2026.
The cost of Greer’s future desexing is included in her adoption fee under ARK’s Deferred Desexing Program, subject to the program’s terms and conditions.
