About Dapple

Snuggly and gentle, playful yet calm, sociable and SO lovable - that's Dapple! And beyond his winning personality, he's absolutely gorgeous to boot!
From the moment he arrived in his foster home, Dapple's been eager to spend time with his foster parents and meet new people. Incredibly friendly with humans, he loves being talked to and fussed over, and is the kind of cat who adores being part of your daily life. He also enjoys cuddles and gentle pats!
Dapple truly is the perfect balance of playful and calm. He's a huge fan of playtime, whether by himself or with his humans, but he knows how to relax and savour quiet moments too :) This sweet boy is also very independent and doesn't mind spending time on his own. He currently stays home alone around four days a week 9 to 5 and seems totally unbothered.
We think Dapple would be very happy in almost any type of home, whether with one person, a couple or a family, with or without other pets. He doesn't knock things over or damage things, and he sleeps happily on his own and respects his humans’ space. He hasn't met any children yet, but given his confident nature he's likely to do well with kids who are as gentle and loving as he is!
(Please note - the vet tattoo makes his ear looks green in the photos, but this is temporary and will fade.)
Like all Maggie’s pets, Dapple is microchipped, desexed, and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: I'm sure to thrive in a loving home where I can be part of the family and bask in your affection and attention. I currently live in a one-bedroom apartment and find it very comfortable, so indoor living without heaps of space suits me just fine, as long as I'm receiving loads of interaction and stimulation. But if you've got a secure garden or enclosure I have a feeling I'd love to experience the great outdoors!
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Medium, I'd say. I'm young, playful and curious, and I enjoy making up games and exploring my surroundings - but I definitely know how to relax too!
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: My purrsonality is likely to be well-suited to family life.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I'm an adaptable and outgoing boy, so I'm open to meeting any resident pets and hopefully making some new friends!

Adoption details
We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at https://form.jotform.co/92940837256870. Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
