Meet Winter and Spring, an exceptionally sweet pair of Japanese Spitzes who are looking for a loving home together.

These beautiful dogs were surrendered very reluctantly by a devoted owner whose serious health issues meant they could no longer provide the care Winter and Spring deserved. They have clearly been loved, and their gentle, affectionate natures shine through.

Winter and Spring needed a little time to adjust when they first entered foster care. Initially, they hid away and were understandably unsure of their new surroundings. Within a week or so, however, they began to come out of their shells and show their true personalities.

Winter is the more outgoing of the two. He greets his foster mum by spinning excitedly in circles before settling in for kisses, cuddles and tummy scratches, which he absolutely loves. Spring is a little more reserved, but every bit as sweet and affectionate once she feels comfortable.

Together, they are the loveliest pair of lapdogs: snuggly, gentle and happiest when close to their people. They are very well behaved, house-trained and generally quiet, although they will sound the alarm if something unusual catches their attention.

Their foster mum says that, for someone dreaming of a cuddly dog on either side of them on the lounge, Winter and Spring would be absolutely perfect. They are sweetness personified—gentle, affectionate and happiest when snuggled close to their people.

Winter and Spring are good with other dogs and cats. They may not have spent a great deal of time living inside before coming into care, but they have adapted beautifully and would love a home where they are welcomed indoors as cherished members of the family.

Japanese Spitzes are known for being intelligent, loyal and highly companionable dogs. They form strong bonds with their people and thrive on being included in family life. Their striking white coats may look high-maintenance, but the breed is naturally clean and generally requires regular brushing rather than frequent bathing.

Winter and Spring will need a gentle home willing to give them time to settle at their own pace. In return, they will reward their family with twice the affection, twice the cuddles and a great deal of quiet companionship.
