About Winny
Introducing Winston ("Winny") 🐾
While his current haircut maybe a little… practical- we promise with a bit of regrowth and shaping, an adorable teddy bear is waiting underneath 🧸✂️
This beautiful little apricot Miniature Poodle, just under 12 months old, is a gentle soul who is quietly waiting for someone special to see the wonderful dog he truly is.
Winston's first family purchased him with the intention of using him in a breeding program. Thankfully, that never eventuated and now he has the opportunity to find what every dog truly deserves- a loving home where he's valued as a cherished family member.
He can be a little shy when meeting new people and unfamiliar situations, but never unkind. Give him a little patience and you'll quickly see his sweet, affectionate personality begin to shine. He’s also young enough to learn loads of new tricks!
He's incredibly intelligent and learns quickly. Every day his confidence grows and it's a joy to watch him discover the world. Winston happily sleeps in a crate at night without a peep and is toilet trained.
He absolutely loves children and other dogs, has a beautiful gentle nature and would thrive in a calm home where someone is around for companionship. We think he'd make a wonderful friend for a retired person or couple, or anyone who is looking for a loyal little shadow to share life's everyday moments.
If you've ever had a soft spot for the underdog, Winston might just be your boy. All he's asking for is someone willing to believe in him. In return, you'll gain a devoted companion whose love, once earned, will be truly unconditional.
