MEET THOR!
Adventurous • Affectionate • Chatty
- Thor is a gorgeous little ginger boy with a huge personality and an even bigger capacity for love.
- He and his sister were found dumped when they were only three months old. His sister was adopted before we even had the chance to advertise them, and Thor is every bit as adorable and deserving of his own loving home.
- Thor is curious, adventurous and always keen to explore somewhere new. Once he has finished investigating, though, he wants to be right back with his people. He will climb onto you for cuddles, sleep beside you in bed and purr away contentedly. When he wants attention, he is not shy about letting you know, calling out with the sweetest little cries until you respond.
- Thor was initially unsure about his foster dog brother and greeted him with a few cautious hisses. Within only a couple of days, they had become friends. He now cuddles up near him, shares his dog bed and initiates little games by tapping him on the nose.
- He is also wonderful with his adult foster cat brother, happily playing with him and settling down for a cuddly nap together.
- Thor would be well suited to a home with other cats, a cat-friendly dog, or both. Most importantly, he needs a home where he will receive plenty of love, affection, playtime and human company.
- Thor is definitely not an aloof cat. He actively seeks out connection and has a lovely way of making you feel very wanted and very loved.
NOTE: Thor has had his 1st vaccination. Conditions of his adoption are that he has his 2nd vaccination at the end of a July and is sterilised and microchipped at the age of 6 months in October 2026. These procedures are covered under the adoption fee and must be done at a SAFE approved vet clinic in Busselton, Vasse or Bunbury.

Our adoption process includes a two-week trial period to ensure you and your adopted pet are the right fit.
The adoption fee of $330 includes desexing, vaccinations, microchip (including transfer of ownership), flea and worm treatment and vet check.
SAFE Busselton requests that all persons adopting a cat adhere to responsible containment practices. As per the current Cat Laws in WA we encourage people to keep their rescued cat as a permanent indoor cat or with access to a safe cat run. It is no longer desirable to allow your cat to wander onto adjoining properties. Confident cats can also be trained to walk on a harness and lead. We ask that owners be responsible and keep their adopted cat safe at all times so that you will have a long and loving life together. Information on cat enclosures can be found here: https://safe.org.au/catios
SAFE Busselton reserves the right to select adoptive homes based on “best fit” for the pet. Although all applications will be considered, being the first application will not necessarily provide an advantage as the adoption committee considers many factors when matching animals to their new home.
