Messi

Why hasn’t Messi been adopted yet?

Messi is definitely one of the favourites at our doggie outing days. He gets so excited when he knows that it is on and he has been out with lots of different people and they all say the same thing………..what an AWESOME dog!

If someone asks for a kid friendly dog, everyone immediately goes to Messi. If they are wanting something super dog friendly, it’s Messi. Going home for a few hours to a home with cats……Messi is your guy. Want to go for a big walk or an adventure, Messi is the boy for you. This boy is seriously the best!

Messi is 9 months old. He walks well on lead, he is good in the car and he only weighs around 15kg. He is around knee high. Messi truly is the happiest, most social boy and we all love him to bits.

The sad reality is that black dogs, no matter how fantastic they are, are often overlooked and we know that they wait much longer to be adopted than dogs of other colours do. I can 100% guarantee that if Messi was a different colour, he would have applications a mile long.

Messi was found at an abandoned house. Even then, his beautiful nature shone through. This boy has never had a cross word with anyone!

Being a working breed mix (vet says Border Collie cross) Messi has plenty of energy to join you on any activity you enjoy but he is not one of those manic dogs who needs to run a marathon every day. He would fit in just about anywhere. Messi would excel at anything his humans wanted to teach him. He would love the beach, the bush or an active suburban life. He would love to go hiking or camping or to dog day care. He would enjoy dog sports or puppaccinos, a dog walking group or trips to the park. Messi really is the most social boy, and he deserves a life full of fun.

Messi loves cuddles and affection. He will do pretty much anything for a treat. Full confession, he did actually help himself to a tasty muffin that one of our team left on her desk but we wont hold that against him.

Messi is just waiting to join your family!
