About Maisey
Introducing Maisey - an older Maltese Terrier looking for a calm, loving forever home where she can feel safe, cherished, and close to her people.
This gentle, sensitive little girl is very shy and will take time to settle. She loves quiet company, cosy resting spots, and being near her favourite. Maisey forms strong bonds and can become anxious when left alone, so she would be happiest with someone home most of the time to offer reassurance and companionship.
Her daily walks are a favourite part of her routine, giving her a chance to explore at her own pace. At home, she will thrive in a quiet, predictable environment with patient people who understand she will need gentle encouragement with toileting and confidence-building.
Maisey has had recent dental care and will need to stay on a soft or wet food diet to keep her comfortable. She also has a mild heart murmur that has been fully assessed by a veterinarian and does not require treatment at this stage.
Maisey is currently in foster care. Apply to meet her: https://www.rspcatas.org.au/dog-adoption-expression-of-interest/
