Meet Prince, a gorgeous, well-socialised, well-mannered puppy with a beautiful soft lilac-fawn coat, striking light eyes and a happy, affectionate nature...and be sure to watch Prince’s two videos, where you’ll see much more of his lovely personality, playful nature and wonderful social skills.

Prince’s foster mum has done a wonderful job with him, dedicating many hours to his training and socialisation. Thanks to her care, he has grown into a very sweet, well-mannered puppy who genuinely loves everyone.

He is wonderful with adults, children, cats and dogs of all sizes. He thrives on companionship and is happiest when he is close to his humans or spending time with another friendly dog. At present, he will often sit at the back door where he can see his people inside, but what Prince would really love is to become a cherished member of the family with indoor privileges.

This playful little boy loves toys—especially anything he is allowed to chew—and enjoys a good game of fetch. He is already showing himself to be a bright and responsive puppy. Prince knows “sit”, “fetch” and “shake paw”, and he is currently learning to lie down. He listens well and enjoys engaging with the people around him.

Prince also has excellent social skills with other dogs for such a young puppy. He reads their cues well, understands when another dog has had enough and behaves respectfully around both large and small canine companions. The black-and-white dog pictured with Prince in some of his photos is his friend Luka.

He is crate-trained, rarely barks and is generally an easy-going, companionable puppy. Prince is, however, a surprisingly capable climber and can reach places you would not expect, so his new home will need secure fencing and sensible supervision while he is young.

Prince is expected to grow into a large dog and will need a family committed to continuing his training, socialisation and inclusion in everyday family life. In return, they will gain a loving, intelligent and very social companion who simply wants to be part of everything.

Prince’s adoption fee includes the cost of his future desexing under ARK’s Deferred Desexing Program, subject to the program’s terms and conditions.
