Mimi is a beautiful 9-year-old British Shorthair who is ready to start the next chapter of her life with a loving family.

This lovely girl has been through quite a journey recently, undergoing specialist eye surgery to repair permanent damage caused by chronic eye ulcers. She has recovered wonderfully and is now feeling like a brand-new woman! Mimi will need one final check-up with her ophthalmologist in the coming weeks, so her new family will need to be happy to take her along to this appointment.

Mimi has had a rough time lately, so she may be a little reserved when meeting new people at first, but then you’ll soon discover the sweet, gentle companion hiding beneath that fluffy coat.

Though she is sweet and affectionate for the most part, Mimi knows her boundaries, and will let you know if you cross them!

Speaking of her coat, Mimi’s luxurious British Shorthair fur will need daily brushing to keep it free from mats and looking its best, as she is prone to matting if brushing daily doesn't occur. She’s searching for a dedicated owner who will enjoy making grooming part of their daily routine.
