About Rabbit
Meet Rabbit - Local adoption
With his beautiful, unique colouring, Rabbit certainly catches people's attention, but it's his gentle nature that will truly win the heart of the right adopter.
Currently living in foster care with a loving family, Rabbit is a playful young boy who enjoys chasing toys, exploring his surroundings and spending time with his feline friends. He has formed a lovely friendship with another foster kitten, Sherbee, and enjoys having a companion by his side.
Rabbit is naturally quite timid and will often disappear to a safe hiding place when unfamiliar people visit. He needs a patient adopter who understands that trust takes time and is willing to let him settle at his own pace. Once Rabbit knows you, you'll be rewarded with one of his favourite pastimes, jumping up on the bed for smooches and gentle pats. While he loves affection on his terms, he's not a fan of being picked up.
Rabbit would be happiest in a quieter home where life is a little more predictable. A home without young children would suit him best, giving him the confidence to relax and let his personality continue to blossom.
Rabbit doesn't travel well, so we're hoping to find him a home close to his foster family so he can enjoy a shorter, less stressful journey to his new home.
Because Rabbit is living in foster care, we know his personality and can help you decide if he's the right match for your home. We don't have a shelter you can visit, but once you've submitted an adoption application, we can arrange a meet and greet so you can get to know this special boy.
If you're looking beyond appearances and would love the opportunity to earn the trust of a gentle kitten who will reward your patience with quiet companionship and affectionate bedtime cuddles, Rabbit would love to meet you.
