Onyx likes to take a quiet moment to work you out first. Once she's decided you're one of the good ones, you'll wonder how you ever lived without her.

This gentle girl isn't one to rush into new situations. She appreciates a little time to settle in and find her feet, but patience is rewarded with a wonderfully affectionate companion who loves cuddles, attention, and simply being close to her people.

She has a calm, curious nature and enjoys watching the world before deciding to join in. It's not that she's timid—she simply likes to make thoughtful decisions, whether that's exploring a new room or making a new friend.

Onyx will need slow introductions to other cats, but she's shown herself to be remarkably tolerant of toddler shenanigans, taking life's little surprises in her stride. She hasn't met any dogs yet.
