There is something truly special about Russ. He forms strong bonds quickly with his people and has so much love to give.
This handsome boy is a big fan of squeaky toys… but even more than that, he absolutely adores a snuggle (and yes, we mean really, really loves cuddles). ❤️
Russ would do best in a home without cats or pocket pets. He has previously lived with another dog and seems to especially enjoy the company of female dogs for those extra snuggle sessions. He hasn't been tested with children.
He’s a true Velcro boy who would love a home where someone is around more often than not, particularly while he settles in and adjusts to his new life. He will need secure fences to keep him safe.
When bedtime rolls around, Russ has made it very clear that the crate is not his favourite place — he’d much rather be as close to his humans as possible.
And if you needed one more reason to fall in love… this gorgeous guy sleeps curled up in the shape of a little pretzel 🥨

How to Adopt: A Step-By-Step Guide:
1. Browse Our Selection: Visit our Animals page and use the menu to view the various pets we have available. Choose between cats and dogs to narrow your search.
2. Expression of Interest: Found a pet that captures your heart? Reach out to us for an Expression of Interest (EOI) form to initiate the process.
3. Patience is a Virtue: We meticulously review every EOI to ensure each animal goes to the right home. Thank you for your patience during this critical stage.
4. Meet Your Potential Pet: If your EOI is approved, we'll organise a Meet & Greet session. It’s a great opportunity for both you and the animal to see if it’s a perfect match.
5. Adoption Application & Home Review: If you're ready to move forward, you'll need to complete our adoption application and agree to a home review.
6. Review & Approval: Your application and home review will be assessed to guarantee a secure, loving environment for your potential pet.
7. Adoption Fee: Upon approval, you'll be required to pay the non-negotiable adoption fee. This fee directly supports our animal care efforts.
8. Welcome Home: Once the fee is processed, we'll coordinate the special day when you can bring your new pet home.
