Russ is ready to find his forever family, and this handsome boy has plenty of love, laughs and cuddles to bring to his new home!
Russ gets along well with others and absolutely loves running around and having fun with his furry brother and sister. When playtime is over, though, he’s more than happy to swap his zoomies for snuggles with his humans. Just be warned… he’s a bit of a bed hog and has absolutely no intention of sharing the blankets! 😂
🚗 Car rides? Once he’s settled in, Russ is a great traveller and loves hopping in the car.
🏡 House manners? Gold star! Russ is fully toilet trained and crate trained for mealtimes and overnight.
🎓 Brains? He knows his sit, stay and go commands. His recall, on the other hand? Well, let’s just say he’s still deciding whether “come back” is a suggestion or an actual instruction! 🤣
🍽️ Foodie? Put it in front of him and he’ll give it a go. Russ is not one to turn his nose up at a meal!
🐕 Protective? Russ can also be a pretty good little guard dog, making sure everyone knows when something is happening around his home.
🐱 Cats? His opinion is still unknown, so a cat-free home would be the safest option unless introductions can be carefully managed.
Russ is looking for a family who will welcome him into their home, include him in their adventures and, most importantly, make room for him on the bed. Bonus points if you’re willing to sacrifice your favourite blanket! ❤️

Our dedicated team is here to support you every step of the way, from your initial interest to the joyful day you bring your new friend home.
How to Adopt: A Step-By-Step Guide:
1. Browse Our Selection: Visit our Animals page and use the menu to view the various pets we have available. Choose between cats and dogs to narrow your search.
2. Expression of Interest: Found a pet that captures your heart? Reach out to us for an Expression of Interest (EOI) form to initiate the process.
3. Patience is a Virtue: We meticulously review every EOI to ensure each animal goes to the right home. Thank you for your patience during this critical stage.
4. Meet Your Potential Pet: If your EOI is approved, we'll organise a Meet & Greet session. It’s a great opportunity for both you and the animal to see if it’s a perfect match.
5. Adoption Application & Home Review: If you're ready to move forward, you'll need to complete our adoption application and agree to a home review.
6. Review & Approval: Your application and home review will be assessed to guarantee a secure, loving environment for your potential pet.
7. Adoption Fee: Upon approval, you'll be required to pay the non-negotiable adoption fee. This fee directly supports our animal care efforts.
8. Welcome Home: Once the fee is processed, we'll coordinate the special day when you can bring your new pet home.
