About Sadie
Please only apply for this greyhound if you have:
- a cat!
- a doggie companion or are home more than out.
If you are seeking a cat friendly and easy-going girl – then Sadie may be the match for you!
Sadie walks well on the lead, and she enjoys going for a wander. She just loves to play with toys. She is house trained and will go to the door to let you know that she needs out.
She loves going in the car and is a good traveller. She is good interacting with other dogs and would ideally like a doggie friend.
[Note: Under Victorian Law greyhounds must be on-leash at all times in public areas, including in off-leash parks or ovals]

Adoption details
Step 1 – Complete an application form

Step 2 – If your circumstances suit a dog, we will call you for a chat to provide you with more information about the dog and answer any questions you may have. If you wish to proceed with the adoption we will arrange a time for a Meet & Greet and a home yard inspection to ensure adequate fencing and shelter is provided for the dog.
Step 3 - A meet and greet will be held with your family and any other pets you may have. All dogs are to be met in person.
Step 4 - If all parties are happy to proceed with the adoption, the adoption fee is to be paid and you will have a 14 day trial period. If at any time in that 14 days you find you cannot keep your dog, they can be returned to R2R and the adoption fee refunded less an admin fee.
At the time of adoption you will receive an adoption pack which will include:-
- Collar & Lead
- Muzzle
- Polar Fleece Coat
- Certificate of Sterilisation
- Certificate of Vaccination
- Information on caring for your greyhound
- Worming & Flea treatment dates
- Access to our private Facebook page for R2R Adopters and volunteers
