I've been adopted!
About Mesha
🐾🩷 Meet Meesha 🩷🐾
4 years and 5 months of cuddles, couch snuggles, floppy ears and enough love to last a lifetime. ❤️
If you're looking for a dog who believes the best place in the world is...
Right beside you...
Then I'd love to introduce myself.
I'm Meesha, a beautiful 4 years and 5 months old French Bulldog weighing approximately 10kg, and my favourite thing in life is simply being with my people.
Whether you're watching television...
Working from home...
Cooking dinner...
Or just popping to the laundry...
I'll happily volunteer to be your little shadow.
Because life's better when we're together.
I came into care after a female British Bulldog and I could no longer live together peacefully - at all,. I found myself looking for a fresh start.
Since arriving in foster care, I've shown everyone exactly what a sweet, affectionate little girl I really am.
I'm one of those dogs who doesn't ask for much.
A comfy couch.
A soft bed.
A few treats.
And plenty of cuddles.
That sounds like a pretty perfect day to me.
I'm wonderfully quiet around the home and absolutely adore people.
Big people.
Little people.
Anyone willing to offer a pat or cuddle quickly becomes my new best friend.
I've been lovely with children of all ages and would happily become a devoted little companion for a family looking for a loyal best friend.
Now...
You may notice one of my ears looks a little different. I have what's commonly known as a cauliflower ear, which developed after some old injuries before I came into rescue.
It doesn't bother me at all and simply adds to my unique charm and character.
My foster mum says it makes me even more adorable.
and who am i to argue .......... I am adorable.
They're part of my story...
And part of what makes me, Meesha.
When it comes to adventures, I'm always happy to join in.
I enjoy leisurely walks of around 20 minutes where I can sniff, explore and take in the world around me.
I'm still learning my lead manners, so I'll need a family willing to continue helping me build confidence and polish my walking skills.
Thankfully, I'm highly motivated by treats and praise, so learning new things is something we can enjoy together.
Around the home I'm an easy little housemate.
I'm toilet trained, although like many dogs settling into a new environment, I had the occasional accident while learning my new routine.
I travel beautifully in the car and am happy to spend a few hours home alone when needed.
At bedtime, I'll happily curl up on my own bed...
Although if there happens to be room beside you on the couch first...
Well...
I certainly won't complain. 🥰
Now, there is one very important thing my forever family needs to understand.
I absolutely adore people...
But I don't enjoy sharing my home with other dogs.
After everything that's happened, I'm happiest being the only dog where I can relax, feel secure and soak up all of my family's love.
For that reason, I'm looking for a home without other dogs.
Cats haven't been tested, so I'd also be best suited to a home without cats.
In return?
You'll receive every ounce of love I have to give.
No divided attention.
No sharing.
Just one very devoted little Frenchie who thinks her humans are the centre of the universe.
I enjoy being brushed, love my wet food, and don't seem bothered by the vacuum cleaner.
Storms and fireworks haven't been tested.
More than anything...
I'm simply searching for a family who'll love me for exactly who I am.
Floppy ear.
Big heart.
Gentle soul.
Someone who'll see my little ears not as something different...
But as one of the many reasons I'll make them smile every single day.
Because underneath those adorable floppy ear is a loyal little girl who's waited patiently for a family all of her own.

Once an adoption enquiry is completed our admin team will assess the application and if successful we will arrange for a meet and greet to be completed. We may also request photos of your yard for consideration of your application. Please note that we will do no more than 3 meet and greets per dog.
Approved applicants will be contacted to arrange a time for a meet & greet via email. You must bring your current dog along to the meeting if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption - proof of your dogs up-to-date vaccination is required before any meet and greet is arranged.
Our adoption fee must be cleared in our bank account before any animal is available for pick up. Please note we bank with ANZ - any other bank may take 48 hours to process the monies.
Paw Prints Canine Rescue has a 10 day trial period – this basically means that if for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to us, the adoption fee minus an admin fee (minimum is $250) will be returned to the adoptees via bank transfer within 7 working days.
Please note that if an interstate adoption needs to be returned or regional adoption all transport cost with be paid by the adopter.

INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS **
Any transport costs are to be paid by the adopting family, however we can assist you in helping with transport to airports etc.
** Please note some of our dogs are not available for interstate adoption - each bio will state if available for adoption - please check before applying.
