About Max
Please only apply for this greyhound if you have:
- Would suit ful-time workers
- Children over 8 years
- Grassed yard for zoomies, as Max is young and energetic
Max is a cuddly and lovable blue pup who is ready to find his forever home!
Max is currently a solo dog and does quite well being on his own at home, however he will also be more than OK with a home with other dogs. He gets along very well with greyhounds, as well as other breeds.
Max can be discerning with different people; sometimes he's very excited to meet new people, other times he can be a little reserved. However, after introductions, he loves to keep company with everyone!
Max can get a bit excited at the beginning of a walk and be strong on leash. However, once he is walking, he is very good on leash! Max is also quite brave and isn’t too fazed by loud noises while out on his walks.
Max is very much a velcro dog and will follow you wherever you go. He also loves a cuddle or a pat and will rest his head on your lap to enjoy a neck scratch.
Max is very good while travelling in a car and will lay down for most of the trip. He does, however, require some assistance getting into cars. He will put his front paws up in smaller cars but may need further training so he doesn't need to be lifted into high cars.
[Note: Under Victorian Law greyhounds must be on-leash at all times in public areas, including in off-leash parks or ovals]
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions.
