Tom is a handsome fellow who is currently searching for a quiet haven to call his own. The loud, busy energy of the shelter has been quite a lot for him to process, and he is feeling very timid and overwhelmed by it all right now.

Tom is a sensitive soul who needs a gentle introduction to his new life. He isn't the type to run to the front of the enclosure to greet you; instead, he prefers to take his time and observe from a safe distance. We can see that he is conflicted but wants all the love in the world... He just doesn't know how to get it. The way to this lovely boy's heart is paved with two things: plenty of patience and lots of tasty treats! Food is a great motivator for Tom, and sharing some delicious snacks is the perfect way to show him you are a friend and help break the ice.

He will thrive best in a calm, predictable household where he can decompress at his own baseline pace without any pressure. Once he feels secure in a routine and realizes he is safe, his brave side will slowly but surely start to show.
