Ponyo

At 11 months old, Ponyo is a beautiful young cat with her whole life ahead of her, but right now, she is finding the big world a little bit daunting. The unfamiliar sights and sounds of the shelter have been quite a shock to her system, leaving her feeling very worried and unsure of herself.

Ponyo is a sensitive soul who handles her nerves by keeping a low profile. Rather than stepping forward to greet new faces, she finds comfort in quiet, secure corners where she can watch everything from a safe distance. She isn't the type to show her personality right away; instead, she needs a gentle, patient family who understands that trust is built in small steps and won't rush her before she is ready.

A calm and predictable household is exactly what Ponyo needs to flourish. Having a dedicated, quiet room where she can decompress without any pressure will help her find her baseline. With time, a steady routine, and soft reassurance, this sweet girl will slowly realise she is out of the busy shelter environment, allowing her true, brave side to finally shine through.
