About Merlin- In foster care in Lower Plenty
Allow me to introduce myself. I am Merlin. Yes, that Merlin... well, perhaps with a little more fur and slightly fewer magical mishaps.
After years wandering the kingdom as a mysterious traveller, I have concluded that the greatest enchantment of all is a warm home, good company, and a human who appreciates an intelligent conversation. Fortunately, I have plenty to say. Every meal, nap, window inspection and important household discovery is accompanied by an enthusiastic chorus of chirps, trills and meows. Consider it less "making noise" and more providing expert commentary on the day's events.
My appearance is rather impressive, if I do say so myself. With magnificent fluffy cheeks worthy of a grand wizard, brilliant blue eyes, and the softest coat imaginable, I cut a rather distinguished figure. But appearances are only half the story. I'm gentle, affectionate and endlessly devoted to my people. Whether you're working at your computer, watching television or simply enjoying a quiet afternoon, I'll happily settle beside you, offer a reassuring head bump and remind you that every great wizard needs a loyal companion.
I also have a great fondness for my fellow felines and would love a home with another friendly cat or two to share my adventures. Dogs, however... let's just say they're not my preferred magical creatures. I'd much rather live in a peaceful, dog-free kingdom where everyone speaks fluent cat.
Though I spent much of my early life fending for myself, you'd never know it. I've embraced home life with all the grace of an old soul finally arriving where he was always meant to be. If your heart has room for a gentle wizard who believes love, friendship and daily conversations are the finest magic of all, then I suspect destiny has been quietly working behind the scenes all along.

Medical notes
During his life on the streets, he encountered an injury from a likely car accident. He suffered a broken femur/hip along with a broken tail. While he coped well, the injury never healed correctly and he lived with a limp. Fortunately, he was able to have surgery to repair his hip joint and greatly improve his comfort and reduce any chances of long-term issues. He is expected to continue to heal well, but may have an ongoing slight limp on his right back leg. He must be kept strictly indoors.
