About Cooma - 6 Year Old Kelpie
Cooma is a handsome 6 year old black and tan Kelpie who weighs approximately 18kg. This gorgeous boy is full of life and is looking for an active family who understands the wonderful Kelpie breed and is committed to meeting both his physical exercise and mental enrichment needs.
Cooma is a happy, intelligent and energetic dog who thrives when he has a job to do or an adventure to enjoy. Whether it's long walks, hiking, playing fetch, scent games or learning new tricks, Cooma is always ready to join in. He is incredibly loyal and absolutely loves spending time with his people, greeting them with a wagging tail and a big Kelpie smile.
Like all Kelpies, Cooma is happiest when both his body and mind are kept busy. He will flourish in a home where he is included as a valued member of the family and given plenty of opportunities to exercise, explore and learn. An active lifestyle with people who enjoy getting outdoors will bring out the very best in this wonderful boy.
Cooma is continuing to improve with his lead manners and travelling in the car through consistent, fear-free training and will benefit from a family committed to continuing his education. If you're looking for a devoted, intelligent companion to share your adventures and have the time to provide the stimulation he craves, Cooma could be your perfect match.

He is in foster care in Ryde, NSW. He is not available for adoption interstate. His adoption fee is $500 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, and microchipped.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:

(2) If the questionnaire is approved, we will arrange a property check so we
can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've applied for.
(3) Next, we will arrange for you to meet the pet, usually at the foster
carer's home or at a nearby park.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay the adoption fee*, sign the NSW change of ownership form and our DRN Adoption Agreement and take your new family member home! The two week trial period begins on the day of adoption.
*We prefer payment by funds transfer and don't accept cash or personal
cheques.
